 High School – IGCSE Programme

Cambridge Upper Secondary is typically for learners aged 14 to 16 years.

Cambridge Upper Secondary builds on the foundations of Cambridge Lower Secondary, although learners do not need to complete that stage before this one.

It is the world’s most popular international curriculum for 14-16-year-olds, which helps the learner to be globally recognized with valued Cambridge IGCSE qualifications.

The IGCSE curriculum focuses on learner-centered and inquiry-based approaches to learning which further develop learners’ skills in creative thinking, inquiry and problem-solving. This way our learners get excellent preparation for the next stage in their education.

IGCSE recognition:

Cambridge qualifications are accepted by universities all around the world.

University entry is always competitive. Therefore one must always remember that achieving the minimum entry requirements is not a guarantee of admission. If you have higher grades the better your chance of being accepted to your chosen programme.

However, Cambridge qualifications are valued by the UK and European universities as academically rigorous qualifications which equip students with the skills they need to succeed both at university and beyond.

The Lisbon Convention which is an international agreement which aims to facilitate recognition of foreign qualifications also Convention guarantees that a holder of an upper

Secondary Cambridge qualification can apply and be considered for admission to higher education institutions in signatory countries other than their own.

In the US, university recognition is also growing. All-Ivy League universities in the US recognize Cambridge International AS & A Levels.

Cambridge international qualifications are accepted at over 40 universities in Canada.

Cambridge qualifications are also given recognition throughout the Asia Pacific and South Asian countries. In a region whose universities increasingly claim high places in the world rankings, there are numerous opportunities for Cambridge students to enter and succeed in top-class degree programmes.

In the Middle East Cambridge, qualification is growing steadily as the popularity of Cambridge qualifications is increasing in the region.

Acceptance of Cambridge IGCSE English Qualifications:

Cambridge IGCSE English as a First Language and Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language are accepted by many universities around the world as meeting English language proficiency requirements.

Although universities may also require students to take another specific English language proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS if they are not an English native speaker. However, some universities will waive this requirement if you have been educated in English for at least the last four years.

What is after IGCSE?

If you are worried about your children’s plans after IGCSE, then leave your worries with us. We have incorporated Cambridge International AS & A Levels programs for our students in our institution.

This will give an opportunity to our students to get another Cambridge degree which is also a well-recognized program throughout the world while staying in their own home country and not having to go abroad, minimizing the cost of living and expenses in a foreign land.

Cambridge “A Level” Programme:

Cambridge International A Levels is a part of the Cambridge qualifications framework which is widely recognized for entry into higher education.

With good Cambridge International AS & A Level grades, our students can get admission to the world’s major English-speaking universities.

Cambridge International A Level is typically a two-year course, and Cambridge International AS Level is typically one year. Some subjects can be started as a Cambridge International AS Level and extended to a Cambridge International A Level.

Though Cambridge International A Levels typically take two years to complete and our school offers a flexible course of study.

Cambridge International AS Levels have half the content of the corresponding Cambridge International A Level and can be completed in one year. On the other hand, students can study Cambridge International AS Level alongside other Cambridge International A Level subjects to increase breadth in the curriculum and build further knowledge and understanding.

Cambridge International AS & A Levels are recognized by UCAS and universities in the UK and overseas as equivalent, the grade for grade, with UK AS and A Levels.
