Biology Teacher – Cambridge IGCSE

Job Description:

1. plan and prepare lesson plans that meet core objectives and principles and are in line with the curriculum goals
2. deliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the academic level and meet the diverse needs of students
3. Organise classroom lectures and coursework 
4. Prepare materials and activities
5. Assign homework and interesting exercises
6. prepare and administer assessments that are curriculum-aligned 
7. maintain accurate and complete student records including attendance, grades, assessments and test scores as required by school procedures and regulations
8. keep parents or guardians informed of students’ academic progress and social and behavioural issues
9. coordinate parent/teacher conferences to review students’ progress
10. Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience
11. Undertake professional development activities to ensure continued professional growth and development of teaching skills
12. Perform other relevant duties

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Education
2. Passionate about teaching
3. Great personality and can work well with young learners
4. Experienced in teaching Singapore syllabus
5. Be prepared to come to Myanmar for Physical classes
